Actress

How much does a Broadway actress in Chicago make when they first start?
So, I plan on being a Broadway actress when I get out of school and such. I was just wondering what actors make in Chicago starting out.

I’m not sure what you are asking.
Are you asking what a stage actress makes in the city of Chicago, IL? Or are you asking what an actress in the Broadway (NYC) production of Chicago the musical?
If it’s the first, please note that there is no “Broadway” in Chicago. The only “Broadway” is in NYC. And the pay an actress receives varies dramatically (no pun intended). Make sure you have a “day job” when you start out — the story of the actor who waits tables while waiting for their “big break” is all too common.
In a Broadway (NYC) production, you get at least Equity minimum, which I believe is currently $1,509/week.

In the days before Christmas, Eloise learns that Rachel (Sara Topham), the d… |

Blue Hawaii $3.54 Elvis Presley’s seventh film was the first of his “Hawaii trilogy” (including Girls! Girls! Girls! and Paradise, Hawaiian Style). While its story is daft–the King has just been released from his Army posting in Italy and returned to the islands, where he’s trying to avoid working in his father’s fruit business–the music is not: “Blue Hawaii,” “Almost Always True,” and the beautiful “Can’t Help F… |
